long story long…
last night, after my radio show, i hopped on my bike and raced down second avenue
i was late for something so i was in a hurry
just below 14th street as i cleared the light cruising about 20mph
a cab door opened in the bike lane
i woke up about 10 feet in front of the cab
i woke up the 2nd time with a crowd of people standing around me
ambulance, concussion, mri, cat scan, x ray, 6 hours strapped in a neck set up staring at the ceiling
lesson: landing on your head and the concept of a broken back is not sweet
my entire body is a bruised road rash so i’ll be in bed if you need mesidebar: happy birthday sarah lewitinn, are you 30 yet?
